Their special acrylic lacquer completely seals the slate ensuring food safety and allowing for ease of cleaning (only for a few exclusive/finest products). 5. To maintain the appearance of these items over time and hide scratches, a natural/cooking oil can be re-applied using a dry, lint-free cloth. Do not wash in the dishwasher; Do not use with abrasive pan scrubs; Do not place in either a conventional or a microwave oven. 6. Their slate products are heat resistant – perfect for hot pans and dishes; fridge and freezer safe. Please keep away from children under 18-year-old, this is not a toy.
